The Vehicle Group (TVG) has been awarded a contract to install a new, advanced CCTV system in the fleet of Peter Green Chilled.
A market leading provider of temperature controlled services to the food and drink industry, Peter Green Chilled serve customers across the UK and Europe.
The superior CCTV system will have 4 cameras covering the front, offside, nearside and nearside front corner of each vehicle, the footage of which will be recorded by DVRs with 4G capability.
The cameras will feed into an in-cab monitor, allowing the drivers a better field of view. Switching on automatically when the drivers indicate left or right, the cameras will assist them when they’re manoeuvring.
In addition, Peter Green Chilled will have the option to view CCTV footage live, accessing it immediately and remotely.
This high spec CCTV system is to be fitted to 50 vehicles which travel throughout Europe.
Peter Green Chilled have also entered into a 5 year 4G contract for support services from TVG including data monitoring, weekly health checks and live maintenance reports of the CCTV and camera systems.

TVG were chosen from a shortlist of 5 companies and won the contract due to their flexible approach, high calibre equipment, skilled installation service and aftercare package.
