With modern electric handbrakes it’s not always easy to tell if the parking brake has been correctly applied. With RollGuard you can eliminate virtually all risk of rollaway incidents due to an incorrectly applied parking brake.
Imagine the driver is tired, or perhaps in a rush, or maybe they think they’ve pushed the electronic handbrake button when if fact they have not. With RollGuard you can remove the risk of human error. RollGuard receives data from a variety of inputs, including seat pressure sensors, vehicle CAN, speed, engine state and gear status to ensure the parking brake is engaged when it should be engaged.
Diagnostic software is also included as standard in every RollGuard installation, making any ongoing support and maintenance cost and time effective.
